Oil changes have nothing to do with O2 sensors. It's more than likely just a coincidence that it went out the day after. They're honestly easy to fix yourself though. All you really need is a wrench to get them out of the socket, then take it out, screw in new one, tighten, hook back up, and you're good to go.

Go to autozone rent the tool. Unplug the plug, put the tool on the o2 sensor and loosen. thats all really.

It honestly is super easy. The only reason I know is because that I just swapped out my OEM headers with some OBX and had to remove/re-install 2 O2 sensors. It was seriously just what I said.. Using a wrench to loosen it and screw it out and then you just put in the new one.. Easy as pie.

Edit: Or you can rent the tool, haha. I just used a wrench, but using a proper tool for the O2 will probably make it even easier.

Make sure you get the sensors with the plug on the end. Otherwise you have to splice the old plug on the new sensor.
