Default problems with 2jzgte swap

hey guys, I have a 98 gs300 that i swapped the gte into. I cant get the engine to rev. It will get to about 40 and stall. If you hammer it, it stalls. even in neutral can rev over 3k.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Bob

These are the electrical things that need to be done:

- The orange and black caps need to be swapped. They are located in the ecu compartment
- Maf sensor and maf sensor body needs to be changed to 2jzgte type
- Ignitor needs one pin inserted
- some wiring needs to be done to allow the 2jzgte radiator fans to work. (only if you have swapped the radiator too)

I have uploaded a word doc file that contains most of the info you need. I got some info from here and other websites.

Also what year 2jzgte was it out of? Apparently if its after 2001, then theres more electrical things that needs changing

The year of the motor isnt the problem, its the year of the chassis. The Aristo vvti motors never changed

True, but I thought that some wiring was different to and from the engine ecu to body / instrument cluster?
