2001 GS300 Stalls with low idles!!! HELP PLEASE!
Can anyone help me please i am a first time owner of a Lexus and i have no idea why my car is stalling out and its an automatic. I drive it fine for a little while but then when i start to slow down or at a complete stop she beings to idle and wants to turn off and while its doing that i feel the car shaking like if its struggling to stay on. I already did a full tune up including water pump belts and have everything to do a transmission flush. Would anyone have any idea what could be happing to my car please help, thank you in advanced!

Check your hoses to make sure you don't have a vacuum leak. I have a '99 GS400 but after a long drive when I would stop at a light the RPMs would get very low and sometimes the car would shut off, but immediately start back up. It drove fine most of the time but got progressively worse. I took it to the dealer and they said I had a cracked hose and replaced it. Now it runs fine.

All of the info in this thread is good. I had the same exact problem with this second gs i just bought as a beater. It is a 2002 gs300 and as soon as it would warm up it would start stalling at idle. I had to roll through stop signs and pop it into neutral and give gas at stoplights just to get it home. The the bottom of the resonator tube was basically cracked off. The previous owner duct taped it back together. I changed the plugs, wires, coil grommets, air filter, and cleaned the filthy throttle body. After changing all of that and swapping over a good resonator intake tube from my other gs, it no longer stalls. It idles between 650 and 700 rpm once hot. Then i put the bad tube on to see what happens. It still doesn't stall but idles lower around 590 to 600 rpm (too low). So basically, the stalling was a combo of the intake leak after the maf, dirty throttle body, and worn plugs and wires.

Low rpm stall po100 code?
Ok so iv notice that only when its cold or randomly after a long drive it dose the stall but either starts back up or it takes another try and its fine i have a gs300 2jzg3 . its pulled the po100 code. Iv baught a new maf sensor i was wondering if that may be the problem or if it could be something different. Its starting to worry me passing over intersections

if it feels like your ur car is struggling to accelerate while your yet hitting the gas it might have a leak on your intake ,check if you have any vacuum leaks ,I had a big hole on my air resonator then bought a new one oem from Toyota installed it and car ran fine perfect after that ,check for any holes
