99 GS300 cranks no start.
I bought another GS300 this weekend, the owner said it ran hot and blew the head gasket, they said it cracked the block and it needs an engine. Their "mechanic" said he hooked up a diagnostic tool to the obd2 and diagnosed it.
I am Toyota tech, I checked the whole fuel circuit and it's good, the wiring is good to the ignitor ground and power, I switched ignitor from my daily GS no spark still. I unplugged the wire from the plug and had my son turn it over nothing. I'm gonna check the timing and crank sensor this week when I get time.
The lady said her dad changed the water pump and the radiator, before The new project.
it over heated.
the coolant and oil have no signs of a blown head gasket, the wires do have oil on them and smell like burnt oil. The plug has oil on top of it looking down at it, I didn't pull them because my tools are at work, I just had some basic stuff a multi meter and test light on me.
Any one have any suggestions, spent all day messing with it, fuel pump is good and all the fuses seem good for ignition also.

Appears to be the head gasket, oil soaked plugs doesn't seem to be coolant mixed in really tho. Going to probably pull the head and see what's up. Kinda just wanna order a used engine

The GS3 valve covers are prong to leak after a while and oil will collect in the plug valley.
Sure this is the cause? Did it ever start?
As mentioned before, is the immobilizer turning off when you insert the key?

The immobilizer does turn off the red light goes out the key operates the windows down and up and all the locks.
it maybe the valve cover tube seals the rest of the valve cover is good though on the outside. but the other plugs are soaked. Going to do it another night, worked 7-7 today and messed around with it a little today. Want to solve this issue and drive it so I can order parts. Going to keep the silver one na

Sorry guys loong week, no codes, I did find the boot melted to a spark plug broke the plug in half removing the boot. I just got all the coil's wires and plugs in, going to suck the oil out the cylinders and install parts Saturday I'm off. And see if she starts, plus get good gas in it. They said its been sitting awhile.

I AM in the process of changing the coil packs , plugs and wires. Thank God for factory manuals available online thru my dealership resources. Not too bad of a job hope it fires up, may need fuel treatment and the oil is over filled like 3 quarts wtf....but I dont think its the headgasket no signs of any oil and coolant mixed.

UGH!!!! Still nothing, just turning over...im need an assistanct to crank while I check for spark....hmmmmmmmmm
Pulled a plug and saw a small amount of what appeared to be coolant...the gasket is probably done.... Need to do a compression test.
