Default Cell phone mount

Just want to know how everyone mounts there cell phone. I have a clip that mounts my phone to the vent but would want something that won't block the vent. Any ideas or pictures?

I've used Kuda mounts in all my cars, best mount IMO, as they look OEM

a bit pricey but worth it if you want it to blend.

I second the magnetic phone mount suggestion - can't beat the convenience. As far as location, I'm planning on putting it in the space between the middle vent and instrument cluster.

I use an iOttie Easy One Touch. It's a good quality mount and the "One Touch" makes it fast and easy to lock and unlock the phone from the mount. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that the suction cup is so strong and the silicone they use for the suction cup is so sticky that it leaves a pretty noticeable mark on our dash since our dash being covered with the padded vinyl is pretty soft. You could place the mount on the front windshield instead of the dash, but I find placing it there, makes the too far away for me to reach it as I like to place the mount down low, pretty much against the dash. iOttie makes a variety of mounts so check them out on their website..... https://www.iottie.com/Product/Serie...ouch/Car-Mount.

Hope that helps!

Moving towards a magnet mount, just haven't found how to mount it. I don't want to stick anything on the interior. Probably fab something to come out from the side of the radio...idk. still playing with some ideas.

Here is my recent phone mount and cradle install.
Strike Alpha Phone Cradle for my specific phone and a Pro-Fit Mount Lx-54-98 made specific for our cars 1998 -2005 GS

Cradle attached to mount...not sure if you can tell but the profit mount installs behind the radio and uses the top right 10mm radio bolt

Fully installed

I just use the air conditioning vent mount. Yeah, it blocks the air, but it was only a few dollars and I think I can live with that.

Currently using that type of mount its work but I don't like the angle the phone is in, would prefer the phone facing me.

@Dangit2001 see links below, Cant say enough about this mount. it installs easily, is super sturdy and once installed faces the driver at the perfect angle.

This is what the mount looks like...comes with AMPS hole patterns to install your phone cradle

hate to revive an old thread, but I just bought the Strike Alpha, and I got the “DIY” version. I am missing the screws to attach the cradle to the mount. Any idea if the professional install version comes with the right stuff?
