Speedometer cable or electronic sensor?
My 2002 GS300 has just started to make a faint whirring sound that varies with speed. My first suspect would be a dry speedometer cable, but I'm not sure if the car uses one or if speed is measured electronically.
If it does use a cable, how does one get at it?
