Spoke to Angel at Carson and based on my criteria he is pointing me toward the JDM grille Carson offers or the TRD. Has anyone purchased the JDM he is referring to? Pics please!

I was kinda leaning towards the TTE grill. Any reason you are not looking at the TTE?

 

TTE looks best IMO.

Have heard that the 'JDM' mesh grill Carson sells and the TRD sem to have the best quality (least returns). I was originally leaning toward the TTE, and planning on the TTE front lip some time in the future.

Still don't have a clue what the JDM grille is Angel from Carson was referring to. Anyone?

Looking to add the 'L' also, so the TRD pics were very helpful. Car is black so TRD Carbon Fiber eliminates need for painting!

May need to PM SupraTRD to get some clarification on the JDM grille.

Do the TRD and TTE grilles come with the mesh attached all ready?

Here the pic of TTE and TRD side by side. The one on the left is GSTrance with TTE,but he change the mesh. The one on the right is TRD also with new mesh(gutter guard from Home Depot).

The TTE grill doesn't have any mesh when you purchase it?? And also the TTE looks like it makes the opening smaller than the TRD.. Is it the angle of the pic or is that just what it does??

 

Lots of varities of the same thing it seems. heh. Mesh! lol.

I really think TRD/TTE grills are the same. Both from Toyota, factory quality, great fitment.

No the TTE grill does make the grill opening smaller. Here is a pic of the TTE on white. It looks much smaller.

 

I like how it makes the frontend look.. Anyone want to trade a TTE for my TRD???
