Default Brighter immobilizer light

I've been trying to find the tread I swear someone did on the immobilizer light that is in the dash. I need more of a deterrent from thieves since my car was broken into. Been 2 months dealing with ICBC here trying to get them to sort this out as they were on the fence with writing off the vehicle. It mostly looks like I can have it fixed, but I want to minimize my chances of it happening again.

I don't see why you couldn't update it, but don't recall seeing that thread.

My installer put a brighter LED warning (with my aftermarket alarm) in my old GS.

Is there any way to tie just the LED into factory immobilizer?

That is what I was thinking Patdow1, or replace the factory one with a brighter/different color one.
