Had my Gs400 Stored over a
period of 8 months..(which I know for the first half of storing it, went through some extreme cold weather)

Before I stored it, I had put in a fresh Redline Motor Oil and K&N Oil fitler (well 30 KM of driving to where I stored it)

Fresh tank of gas (94 Octane) w. Fuel Stabilizer ....

Now that I have the time to attend to it, I will be putting it back on the road...

Already change the battery, drained the old gas as best as I could.


But seeing as it has sat for so long, is there anything else I need to do or open to any suggestions before I start it up?

 

8 months shouldn't be too big a deal... i don't think you would of had to drain the gas if you put ample amount of stabilizer in it... you used a synthetic oil so it should be fine too... if you have power and gas, it should fire straight up... might idle rough for a few mins but once you drive her for a bit and get the gas moving she should be fine... depending on the seasons 6-8months is sometimes the norm for people who put their toys away for the winter...

 

Were the wheels / tires off or lifted? Going to have some serious flat spots if not for a while at least.

 

Fire it up and drive it.
