'10 3GS Oil Smell Gas
Engine oil smells like gas when I pulled the dipstick today. I wiped it off and smelled the towel and yup... Its the smell of gas.
My '10 is 44,000 miles would warranty fix this?

Did you start the car right before you tested? This is normal as it's the car priming up and there's more gas in the mixture of the oil.
That's why when sending oil for blackstone analysis, they say take the car, start it, drive it for a while (preferably highway) and THEN take a sample.

Yikes! Sounds like a bad leak. Are you under CPO/factory warranty? If so they should diagnose it free of charge..... It's drivetrain related and drivetrain is under warranty.

Only thing I can think of, exactly what you said. Are you burning any oil?
Definitely let the dealership know you smell high amounts of gasoline in the oil, especially the dipstick area.
I agree with RYDER, on my 430, I smell a strong gas odor, it is because the car is running rich as a warm-up session.

They won't check anything esoteric under warranty usually... unless there is a check engine light or flames coming out of the engine bay they assume you're being a hypochondriac.

A gallon of 40:1 would be 20 gallons of 800:1 if you added it to a full tank. That's nothing. In my years in the auto service buzz, I've seen people put way higher concentrations of weird crap in their gas tank. Power steering fluid pints, a gallon of diesel, and various snake oil products. An 800:1 mixture of two stroke gas wouldn't scare me at all.
