Default Resonator Delete on a 2Gs300

I'm planning on getting new exhuast tips for my car tomorrow, or at least to go to a muffler shop to see the prices involved with installing new tips, I thought to myself that I would also like to make the exhaust slightly louder, I think the 3gs sounds amazing, I just don't like having to have the rpms so high to hear that amazing engine, but at the same time I don't want to lose that luxury (not to loud of an exhaust) so Im contemplating removing one of the resenators, the ones all the way near the back as I've read they're located. Ive read that removing the mufflers make the engine really loud, but I don't want that, so I was considering either removing 1 or 2 resenators. Anyone care to chime in with experience removing resenators?

I originally had my resos deleted and wasn't pleased so I went back and had them welded back in and removed mufflers instead. I had both long ones that are paired up side by side towards the middle/rear as well as the little mini muffler looking one towards the front of the car. When I had the reso delete I had wide (5" if I remember correct) rolled edge truck tips welded to my stock mufflers and as funny as it sounds...i think the tipps made more of a difference in terms of tone than removing the resos did.
