Hey everyone! So I just bought a 2nd Gen Lexus GS yesterday and when I got home I found out the door actulator was acting up. I've seen the door actulator DIY and I'm not a DIY type of guy. So I was wondering if anyone knows a place that can replace my door actulator for me? I'm located in SoCal, in the San Gabriel Valley area.

 

Im in the San Gabriel Valley too... How much of the job do you think you can do on your own? Im in the SGV and did mine about 6 months ago. I might be able to help a bit. Which door is it?

 

The unit is easy enough to replace if you want to just purchase the whole door lock actuator. They run about $90. Cost more but requires less work.

 

I don't think I can do much. I don't know how to do anything when it comes to cars, I'm scared to attept to do anything because I don't want to damage the car. I think 3 doors are affected, The front right and left. And one of the rear.
