Default Question regarding our A/C compressors!

Hey guys, Cat. here with a quick question if I may!

I have a 2002 gs300 that the A/C line had been busted off of the compressor which emptied out all of the refrigerant and refrigerant oil out of the compressor, and have been driving my car this was for over 6 months now. Question is now that summers coming around the corner, do you guys think my compressor it destroyed now since its been dry? Or will an A/C shop simply be able to fill it up with oil, and refrigerant and get it going once again? Anyone have any experience with this situation? hope i dont have to replace the compressor.
Thanks guys.

Thats like putting gas in a gas tank that has a hole in it, get lines fixed and then re oil the compressor, if that fails then you need a compressor, btw how did the lines break??

Oh no no im sorry man I should have made it a bit more clear, everything is in tact, nothing blew whatsoever, it was intentionally unbolted and then from a long distance with a pole given a little nudge to blow it because it all needed to be moved out of the way haha. but everything has remained connected ever since everything worked out, but the compressor has just been being spun with the drive belt with no oil in it obviously... which im hoping wouldnt harm anything since I havent run the A/c obviously... but yea no no its def. not filling a gas tank with no bottom lol.... its a closed and sealed, BUT DRY, unit... at the moment.

Your compressor should be fine...

But, because you blew the line; gas escaped taking with it an unknown amount of compressor oil.
You and your A/C tech can guess and add the estimated amount back in and hope for the best.
Or you should remove and flush all components, replace expansion valve, replace drier, and drain all the remaining oil from your compressor to start over with a clean system.

Why did you need to move the compressor anyway ?
