Can anyone tell me why I got this check in the mail? I thought this was for the newer models. I have an 01 GS430 and when I googled the lawsuit it comes up for newer cars and not even a GS. Can anyone tell me what this is? I know my car has electronic throttle but my year WASNT listed. What's wrong with my car that I don't know about lol?

Thanks just saw it. I'm still confused to exactly what the issue is. Is it the same issue as the new cars? Where it accelerates without you pressing the gas? I only noticed delayed throttle response but not that

 

Toyota is trying really hard to erase the stigma of the fatal acceleration recall. I can still see Toyota's president crying in shame in front of his company.

Did they send different dollar amounts? I got one too, but my dollar amount is different.
