Went to start my car and the damn thing is misfiring slightly and its not throwing codes at all. Its not consistent its intermittent and i can hear a thump under the hood while under load and i cant figure out what it is. Tomorrow im going to put it on my friends scanner and run the datastream so I can see the misfire history but I just wanted to see if anyone had the same problems. Im thinking its a sticky injector what do you guys think?

 

Have you found anything on your misfire problem? I'm just getting into research for the same issue on my 99 GS300. After a 5+ hour trip, pulled off the interstate and it missed/backfired badly (clearly more than one cylinder) under load for another 10 miles. Never threw a code/turned on a light. Got there, didn't run the car for 2 days, then restarted it and it ran fine for the 5 hour return trip and around town for the last week. I'm 30k miles past due for plugs/coils/wires, so that's what I'm replacing first.
