I bet the car was in an accident because of the paint job. Also, what bushings does he mean? New bushings all the way around? Thats a hell of a lot of work just to get rid of the car that fast. Something seems off to me. Make sure you take the car on the highway to see how she feels.

 

I would avoid this car for many reasons:

1: Its a lowered car with huge wide rims thats driven in NY as per your profile. you will REGRET riding on those wheels and lowered suspension in NY. Unless you live upstate where the roads are nice don't even think about bringing it anywhere near NYC unless you want to be constantly breaking something. When I had my GS430 on 17 inch stock wheels it felt horrible, IMO for the city this car was desgined to run on 16s and should only be on 16s for NYC or you WILL feel EVERY pothole or road imperfection and not a buttery smooth lexus.

2: NEVER trust a car where the owner dumped so much money into it but only put 5k miles on it. Theres 95% a hidden problem for sure that the owner discovered while hooking it up and decided to sell it. There can be many different things that can be wrong and you wouldnt find out until its too late.

The car LOOKS good, but its really not about how it looks its about how it DRIVES. take it for a ride on a bumpy road, and then come drive mine lol and see what difference!

 

Nice car, everything i wanted when searching for a GS4, if an inspection by a mechanic checks out and it drives ok then I would buy it.

 

I think the seller is telling a bunch of baloney. HIDs in fogs + rewired? That might lead to some electrical issues later. JDM tail lights? I see stock 01+ tail lights, what's "JDM" about them? Just looking at the text messages that the seller wrote, it doesn't seem like he's telling the whole truth about the car. I wouldn't recommend getting it. You can find clean, stock GS4 for this amount easily, and you will be much better off.

 

Even with these high miles, you would be better off purchasing this one since its in better condition and more stock which is what you NEED for NYC. If you were in CALI I would say lowering wouldn't be a problem. But its a BIG problem in NYC.
