i just got a set of the eagle eyes. the rubber the goes around the lens and sits between the lens and the body panels are cheap and uneven. the depos are more pricey i'd imagine they are of better quality. also the chrome bezel of the eagle eyes rub off ridiculously easy, i barely touched it with a microfiber and it rubbed off. i dont know if plastic painted in chrome is supposed to come off that easy..

Just wait for a set of oem to hit the classifieds. You can toss those on and use your own for the retrofit. Then when your done you can sell the second set or attempt another retrofit. Really no need to buy a new set since you won't use much other than the housing and lens. I got a set of oem here a few years back $100 shipped nothing wrong with them.

You can have yours polished and clear coated. If you are going to buy off eBay get the Depot ones but I'd stick with oem. If you ever go to sell it later this will be one of the questions and some my back out if they cheap housing/lenses.

It's kinda like buying expensive 3piece wheels but putting on cheap tires. It could just be better.
