Hi all...
I've been on this board for quite sometime now, and I do remember reading a few posts on how dealers react to aftermarket mods. However, I never really gave them much consideration since I didnt' have any at the time. At my last service, I had MANY problems with the dealer when they saw that I had subwoofers in the trunk!! They didn't allow me to replace the front speakers under waranty cuz of the subs!!
Anyways, in the next few months, I will be coming into some money, and was MOST LIKELY going to purchase the Swift Racing HFI/ECU, TORQUE CONVERTER and an EXHAUST system (not sure which one). RIMS and L-TUNED SUSPENSION will be purchased also! 
I was just wondering how my service will change when my dealer see's these mods. It's bad enough as it is being that I'm only 19, I can't imagine what it will be like when they see a 19 year old in a GS400 with tinted windows, a loud stereo, rims, lowered, intake, exhaust ect. So can anyone give me any advice or recommendations as to where I should get my services done?? Who should I deal with?? I live in Orange County, which is in Southern Cali....

Hey Sasha, you must be a youngin like me! The service writers or whatever they are called are probably just jealous. I bet if your mom took it in they would not give her any problems. The Lexus of Lansing dealership now kisses me...posterior because they messed up my trunk lid the first time the car was in for my spoiler.
It really depends on the dealership, but the L-TUNEDS are covered by the Lexus warranty, like dzman said.

I was 18 when I purchased my GS400 and I have a few mods the dealers were nice about it though they didnt bother me with the air intake or the rims or the subs actually they havent bothered me about anything yet but I know they will say something about my suspension now that my car is dropped but I have 60,000 miles on it now so my warranty is over but over all they have been very suportive
