So I'm looking to order a set of the 01+ tails, I've looked on here and I hear you need a different harness to make it work on an older GS, on the ads on eBay the new ones say they come with a harness, as long as you have this are you good to just plug in? This is what I'm looking at

if it has harness from 01+ it is plug and play.

if no harness included you must do some splicing modding for the 98-00.

Switching out 01+ tails is straight plug and play. If you go with LED, they come with Resistors. Beware if you get a brand like Depo, The resistors are bad and will heat up and cause a burning smell from the trunk. Just throw them away. Most people just remove them and live with the busted taillight alert on their dash.
