I have GS300 2002
The doors dont unlock when I shift to P
However, the lock when I shift to R or M-D

How to set them to unlock when I shift to Parking ?

 

This would be done using the Lexus factory tool to modify the C-Best settings.

Mine did this exact same thing. Since the closest Lexus dealership is about an hour away, I went to my local Toyota dealership about 5 minutes away and they were able to change it. They just hooked up the computer and showed me all of the options I had with unlocking and locking the car. Took 5 minutes and it was done. I do not know of anyway you can do this yourself, you need them to hook up a computer to do it.

 

Do dealers charge you for these changes?

 

Yes, most charge.

 

Make shure your lock switch motor not broken or going out because this gs model always had issues with the lock switch

 

Any idea on how much they charge?
