Default plug change 99 gs300 and tips?

Alright I'm going to do the plugs on the 2j and was wondering if I was right when I assumed you'd have to take off the intake to get the rear plugs? Also the car had a leaky valve cover gasket but has since been fixed. Toyota was kind enough to leave all of the oil all on top of the plugs. any suggestions on getting them out and getting the oil out without dropping it in the cylinder??

You have to remove the intake manifold to access the plug. It's also a good idea to clean the manifold before installing it. Make sure to use a shop vaccum, air, to remove all kind of dirt on the engine before removing those plug. Be careful those plug cable they are probably brittle(WTH change it too). I did mine not long ago...slowly but surely.😉

Get njk plugs and spark wires, you'll break the old ones I guarantee it, and valve covers oem from online and call it a day. remember to put a lil bit of rtv near the cam area. I took a air hose and put a paper towel over each section to blow everything into, with the old plugs still in. this way you don't have oil flying everywhere . as far as the intake you need to take the throttle body and the y-pipe off. there's 5 on the throttle body and i think 8 on the y-pipe.

That is because you need to search on topics like these. This has been covered so many times, basic procedures like changing plugs can be found all over the place.

NGK - Not NJK

Coil pack connectors - not spark wires

Valve cover gaskets - not valve covers

Otherwise, very good advice

lol right NGK and yes the vc gaskets but I meant spark/ignition wires not the coil packs. I cleaned the coil packs and they were fine it was the clips on the wires going from the coil pack to the spark plug that broke, at least for me anyway.
