Thought I would do a quick write-up on the process of shaving the rear fenders without removing the clips and welds that hold the two metal panels together. Obviously this won't work for those with super aggressive rear fitment but for those like myself with a much milder setup 19x10 +27 its a safe alternative without risking metal separation down the road. There are other write-ups on doing this so I won't get into too much detail. The key details are make sure you tape off the panel to protect it in case the sand paper comes off the tool. A belt sander with (Blue) 80 grit moves through the metal quickly and efficiently. After I removed the material needed I sanded the metal edge down with 800 grit by hand then sprayed on a sealer and applied factory touch up paint to prevent any rusting. The entire process took about 2 hours.
Came out looking good, and good job on preventing future problems by covering it back up with paint. Although when I did mine, I shaved past the little square tabs
