How do I replace bulb in 3rd brake light?

Default How do I replace bulb in 3rd brake light?

Bulb is out in my 3rd brake light, pulled it out and cant figure out how to remove the red screen to get to the bulbs.. help please!

If I recall correctly you pull the whole unit out, and slide the silver housing which holds the bulbs inside and it'll come out, housing is part of the bezel, make sure to use correct bulbs and not standard 194's as they will bring up a taillight indicator light

5w bubs will only work. walmart has them

Just did this yesterday. There are tabs at each end of the bulb holder. squeeze in and it comes out with all five bulbs. There are three or four different wattage bulbs in this size. Use the 5 watt factory value. Got rid of my dash indication.
