Default Need some advice..

Hey guys, I have a 2001 GS300. So my check engine light came on when I was on my way to a buddy's house. Maybe like 20 miles away. I was running on E but filled up at a gas station on my way. When the light came on I immediately checked under the temp gauge and checked under the hood. When I opened the hood I saw a bunch of white splatter marks through out the engine bay. I feel as if it might be the radiator hose, but also the coolant overflow tank seems like it might have a leak. Here's a picture if anyone would mind giving me some advice.

Thank you in advance.

Ps this car also has 245k miles.

Pss the dry coolant around the coolant over flow is also from me when I was topping it off with toyota red. (;

Check your hoses for cracks... that looks like its coolant from the radiator splattered back from the air moving through the engine bay while driving. also check your resevoir for hairline cracks. Seems to be behind or under the reservoir for a possible cracked hose.

My guess is a cracked radiator end tank. Those plastic pieces tend to get brittle with age and eventually let go.
