Hi my name is Dylan, and I'm a new Lexus GS300 owner. I never owned a lexus before this is my second vehicle, my first vehicle was a 2000 honda civic coupe which I got when I was 18, after 4 years of owning I was really wanting a luxury sedan and was mainly interested in is300 and tsx's but they were all out of my price range. One day I stumbled upon a really clean 2001 GS300 and decided it was for me because it had the interior color I wanted, maintenance history, and price range. Here's some onfo about it.

1. Silver
2. Black
4. Mark Levinson with navigation and aftermarket installed Grom AND-2 adapter module
5. No modifications yet besides audio module. Ordered BC Racing coilovers and will be removing muffler and replacing with straight pipe and slant cut exhaust tips.
6. I've always been a honda person because that was my first car, I actually worked at russ darrow honda for a year as a lube tech and didn't know anything else really, all my friends have hondas, acuras and one bought a volvo. I just got sick of everyone in the honda scene and weren't very supportive in forums and always bashed each other especially when people had automatics. So far after viewing multiple forums on here everyone seems nice and helpful so I'm excited to be part of a great group.

Welcome brotha. There comes a time in every man's life when he gets rid of the high school honda and gets a real car lol no offense but I think you will understand after driving the GS a while. Car looks fresh by the way...how many miles?

nice ride! ditch the spoiler! and hey I have BC's and love them, no clunks and all that you may hear, but i also dont believe that they came with the preloas set, so I did it again, and the ones I found that complained about the BC clunks were either A)pillowe ball app. or those who didnt double check the pre. but! what i was getting to! make sure you get at LEAST 12/10 set up I which is what I did, but knew I should have gone one more up! 14/12 would have been nice ONLY BECAUSE id have the option for that if I wanted... but 12/10 is a dream... some dudes selling powered by max coils right now!! LEGIT if you ask me! oh and, ditch the trunk wing lol

Welcome! Maybe it's just me, but it looks like you have L-Tuned mufflers on there. Could you post a few more pictures of the rear-end for us?

 

thanks for the welcome, and it has 146,000 miles and the exhaust is just stock stainless steel replacements from ebay I believe. Ill take a picture after I get off work.

Nice GS! I have the same color combo, but somewhere deeper is Navy Blue and Orange, as you may have Green and Gold... lol.

I think a lot of us here graduated from Honda family.
