It's going to be released on the Japanese market in September(Aristo). So(following previous trends) it should be released here in the states sometime in '04. The Aristo release will be followed by the introduction of the MKV Supra(at the end of this year) at the Tokyo Motor Show(scheduled for '04 release).

If that is the case, then I cannot wait for September to roll around. If will be very interesting to see what Lexus decided to do with the new GS after so much speculation.

Personally, I am hoping it doesnt look anything like that photoshopped pic that has been floating around. That picture gets me nervous.

JD, go to the RX board, there are official shots now, not photoshopped. Still not crazy about it, although the interior is nicer.

Thanks for the info LexusPride.

Maybe it is me, but the new RX looks similar to the previous model.

I wonder if the new GS is going to go conservative (ala the RX) or more aggressive (ala the ES). That photoshopped spy pic of the new GS left a lot to be desired.

I guess only time will tell.

That's debatable. I don't think that the ES has an aggressive bone in its body: it is all vanilla, middle of the road IMO. The only aggressive thing about it is how its lights bulge out of its nose (no offense to ES guys).

Vlad Stein,

I meant no offense with my last post. I was just focusing on exterior styling more than anything else.
