p505 code/idle issues

p505 code/idle issues
so my car has had an idle problem for a while now. while in park it idles at 500 rpm no roughness,clean idle. however as soon as i put it in drive the roughness kicks in when im at a light/stopsign. when it comes to acceleration im fine but i do sense a lack of power. ive been driving like this for a while now and just yesterday i get cel with trouble code p505. i have cleaned the throttle body around october already. no visible vacuum leaks. connections are fine. the only solution i can think of is replacing the idle control motor? i hate driving like this

Try cleaning the OCV (oil control valve) there is a DIY here about it. I had a different code but it's exactly as you've described. My code was P1349. Idled awful at lights or stop signs, felt like it was going die at any second. The OCV has a screen at the end, overtime the screen gets old and needs replacing. It controls the oil pressure. Read and search more about it.
