Default Drove my first GS400 today

I just started working as a valet today at the Ritz Carlton and have always loved the design of the GS but never drove one until today at 8:55am. It was silver with a light tint. During that morning I drove a new e320, a new Q45, and several other POS. We are not suppossed to speed in the garage but I could not help it coming around the corner. I didn't get crazy with it but the car just went and I felt it in the seat. After parking it I realized that the car had over 100K on the clock and ran as if it was new. My hat goes off to all Lexus owners because I am now truly in love

LexBubble, glad you enjoyed it, but you've confirmed why I've NEVER had my GS valet parked.

My thoughts exactly! That's why I pay $4 extra to park my car in a park-n-ride at work, as opposed to the lot that my dealership gets a discount by. By the lot, dents and scratches are a no cost option  . I pay a few extra dollars, park the car myself, lock the car, take the keys, and know that there won't be any negligent incidents with my car.

I used to be a valet in college, and my god, the ROMPING! Especially if someone was a jerk- it was donut time. Plus, we had a lot down the street, and we knew exactly which cars were capable of chirping in second gear, and would fight over them.

Despite that, with an auto trans and at age 34, I valet everywhere in LA. When I'm trying to get into some gals knickers I'm not going to park around the corner. And of course guys, a decent tip is $5, maybe $3. The worst problem now is the valets that freaking STINK, just like the Seinfeld episode. And whatever happened to the lost art of making sure all the doors are unlocked, the A/C is on in hot weather, and the heater / seat heaters are on in cold. And leave it running for the love of Pete (some places forbid this). And don't you hate the way they are always messing with your automatic lights??!

Wow, once I got started I couldn't stop.

BTW my paintless dent removal guy ROCKS, and gets lots of work out of me.

Wow, wait a minute. I didn't say that I was powerdrifting around the corners in our basement garage or seeing how much smoke the rear tires can produce or seeing how high I could rev the engine in neutral and then shift to drive before I heard some nasty sounds! I should have said that I did give the car some gas and it went. I was in no way disrespecting the car or its owner. I will be the first to admit that I did get to about 20 mph in our garage but not 60 around the corner with the gas pedal sticking out of the bottom of the car. I am not a Lexus owner yet but will be soon. Just as previously stated by another member, I too am 30 year old with an SUV (automatic) and a GSXR750 that will make your eyes bleed. If I want speed, I will get on my bike. I respect everyones opinion but I, IN NOW WAY, got out of hand with the car. The experience for me was outstanding, a car with 100K plus on the clock that repsonds and drives like it was brand new. Again I will take my hat off to ALL LEXUS OWNERS because I truly know now what it means to be in love!
