Default Center console touch up

I got a piece of carbonfiber tape so I decided to do a little touch up for the center console.
It's made from one piece obviously. Hair dryer was a good little helper on this project.

Shifter was already covered with the tape so now it goes well with the surrounding.

Haha the response from you guys.

Tell me more about the "blackwood", why is it so special (aside the fact that it's better looking than the light wood **** that's seen on 90% of Lexus')?

Actually that blackwood was the only thing I liked about in my interior. I hate those tan leather seats and the lack of navi (= the presence of cassette player ).

I got it cheap so I didn't want to pass the opportunity just because it has lame interior.
GS430's are hard to find in Finland especially at the price I got it. GS300 is more common in here but I don't want underpowered V6 when there's a V8 available.
That light wood thing is where we disagree strongly.

I have to agree with mccrimmon, it does belong to a Civic and I generally despite these kind of mods (ricer mods or what do you call it there?) on a car but hey, it was just for fun.
It's not like I'm going to cover the rest of the blackwood ornaments.

Let the haters hate and so on..

No hate involved my european brother. Just honest criticism. I'm sure a gs400/430 with black interior is pretty rare over there in Finland. I think if you swapped in a black interior you might like how it goes with the blackwood.

I see so much trolling with this guy, I dont need to look in this thread anymore... Definitely part of this "new breed" looking for a "cheap" Lexus to debacle.

Wtf? I'm trolling because I do things differently than others?
What's wrong with getting a fine car cheap? I believe I paid this more than average GS430 with these miles and age costs in the US.
These are 16-18,5k$ (IF you can find one) here in Finland so of course I take the change and buy it if I get it under 6,5k$. Sorry for that, if you don't like it then you really should ignore my threads for now on.

Just the taxes alone to import these here is ~4,5k$.

I definitely understand the criticism (and the hate) but some of you are just being way to serious about this. If I'd known that I would've never posted this here.

Finding a GS400 (even less common than GS430) or GS430 with black interior in here would be a jackpot. I'll have to settle for what I have for now and most of all be happy that I do have a fine car like this.
Don't get me wrong, I love the blackwood ornaments. But sure yeah, they'd be even better looking with black interior.

Check ebay or the sales ad here. A black interior might pop up. Not sure how much shipping would be lol.
