Hub-centric rings didn't really help me. Changing my tires from Michelins to Bridgestones (don't remember which models off the top of my head) helped a little, but that didn't solve it. It turns out it was much simpler.. seized front brake caliper. Fixed that and now it rides smoothly (except when the tire pressures are off). I use the steering wheel shakes as a reminder to check my tire pressures :P
