Default Radiator and A/C fan help

Hello guys, I have a lil problem not even sure what the hell happened because it was working fine the day before. My fans do not work and my car goes above the normal running temp. I check the fuses and relays all seem good. I turn on the ac and set the temp high but the fan does not come on. However I removed the plug from the sensor or switch located at the bottom tank of the radiator and bot fans come on as soon as I turn the car on.
Would this suggest that the switch or sensor is bad???
