Headlight Auto Level Light
So my auto level headlight warning like came on yesterday. The is the first warning light I have ever seen....car has 120k on it. I put the car in the garage and started the vehicle....I was surprised to see that both lights did move up and down. But the auto level light remains on. Not sure what is exactly going on.

if the headlights still moved up and down upon turning the car on. that means the motor in the headlights is still good. (going thru the system check)
further diag would be needed, but possibly look into the sensors on the lower control arm that measure the up and down movement of the car for the headlights autoleveling. the links could have been damaged or the sensor itself could be faulty.

For what it's worth mine do the same thing every now and then. No biggie. I think those kinda gremlins are par for the course with over 225k. But then having tranny problems, though. right?

I just noticed that my driver side upper control arm bushing is totally cracked. I have ordered parts and will be fixing it soon. While I was looking around under the car I noticed that there are two sensors - 1 on the front control arm and 1 on the rear. Both of them are on the driver side and believe they are associated with the auto leveling.
Any chance that this damaged UCA bushing could be throwing some things off?
Has anyone ever replaced these sensors before? Cost?
