Default Which components on this fuse circuit?

Ok, so I've got a somewhat infamous fuse blowing problem. Radio for no reason that I can find is blowing. As we all know when this fuse blows, our shift gate lock becomes nonfunctional as well as our a/c controls go dormant. Well, I'm need to begin the process of elimination to figure out which component is causing this. Other than the aforementioned, what else is effected by this fuse?

Now if anyone wants to take a guess of whats going on... This barely began yesterday afternoon, so I'm barely going to begin today. As I left work, I put in drive and moved 5 ft and radio shut off, so I'm like ok lets put into park and take a look, but I couldn't put it into park, thats when I realized it was more than just a radio problem. My car is completely customized (including radio) and all done my me, so I know how everything else is hooked up. Anywho, I confirmed it was the fuse and I slapped another one in and all was fine. I drove to auto parts store and bought a pack just in case. I made a few stops before going home, I drove maybe a total combined of 30 miles and the fuse went out again with same symptoms. That was last night. This morning I replaced the fuse and left my radio off and drove to work. As I go home I will keep it off to try and eliminate that its the radio.

ok thats all, hope I can get some info thanks, gotta go

Try isolating the radio out if it still blows a fuse. If still does, you got a damaged wire somewhere which is gonna be a biatch to trace.

It sounds like a damaged wire as well. Could be a short to ground or a possible internal short in your radio. make sure the wiring isn't pinched inbetween your seats or some rubbing points. I ran into that issue before with my old system.

I forgot to mention, when I said, " lets put into park and take a look" it DIDNT go in to park (edited)

Its hard to believe its a grounded wire because if it were, it would pop immediately, not after a long time driving (its only 10a). No I'm not ruling it out, however its an easy test. As for pinched wires somewhere (at least with what I've installed) I'm pretty critical about my wiring and all are usually loomed, taped and tucked properly. Sorry, just too much pride to believe it But yea, still a possibility.

I'd still like to get some schematics of what is used with this circuit. If it IS a screwed wire, at least I could narrow down what to troubleshoot. No need to track down the effed wire, I just usually end up rewiring the component I had a bad wire in one of my other cars, I just made a new harness and left the bad one there with no current LoL
