INHOCJP: There's nothing wrong with your eyes, the housing is slightly smoked. I think Lexus offered these headlights for only the year 2000, and only as a replacement part. I have a set of these on my car, they looked great until the condensation problem ruined them.....................
I say its time for Lexus to start replacing these lights for free, regardless of warranty.

Considering how widespread the problems is, I think you're right. Even if owners are out of warranty, it would be nice if Lexus gave one "goodwill" replacment. I'll keep a close eye on my newest lights, but I'm not optimistic that they'll remain condensation free.

Forget a "Goodwill" replacement.... They need to figure out the reason why the lights do that and fix it... Then have a recall on all the housings... It seems as though almost every GS owner experienced problems with condensation during there ownership of the car... It's ridiculous....

Default headlights

I can't believe they haven't gotten sick of replacing headlights yet. It must be costing Lexus millions on parts alone not to mention the labor every dealership is hitting them for. They probably wont have a recall because it is not a safety issue. Maybe it is only people here that really are concerned about it, most people probably just live with it, but if you see any body with a GS CL or not ask them about there headlights or if you see a GS in a parking lot put a note on it. Maybe our voice could get heard if we become the masses instead of the small percentage of car crazed maniacs.

MrSypher: Your absolutely right, they need to find a fix to this problem. What good are new lights if the same problem returns a short time later?

Blvdking: When I was at my dealership, I looked at the CPO GS's. Sure enough, a good number of them had the condensation problem. Sure seems widespread!
