'03's still have the green tint, BTW..I don't know of a smoked housing for the GS headlights, and as stated, there is a Sportdesign IS300 due any time now, however, I didn't hear anything about any limited edition GS' this year.

I have some more pics, but am having trouble uploading them from my camera. Hopefully the one I posted will help clear up all the confusion.

sometimes my headlamps look like that also from some angles. See if you can show more pics from farther away so we can compare it with the car's color. thanks.

I have 2000 GS400. I just got the headlights replaced because of the condensation. Before I had clear bluish looking ones. I remember this because of the CL post comparing the older ones with the new greenish headlamps. The new headlights I got are smoked, like in the picture. Alos, there is a guy at my work that drives 2002 GS300, and I had a chance to look at the headlights on his car, and they are clear greenish ones.

Damn, looks smoked to me. I can't see a dealer putting these on and not realizing they are a much darker hue. The GS headlamps are a bright color. This is weird.

Sick:

The funny thing is, I specifically asked my SA to order the 2001 - present lights, since my old pair were 2001's. Who knows what happened. Either way, I like the look...hopefully there'll be no more condensation problems. BTW, I put on the l-tuned kit last week. Thanks again Sick

Chris:

Glad to find someone who can attest to the color of the lights.

Default smoked headlights

Those look great I love the smoked look! There sounds like there has been allot of problems with headlight moisture maybe Lexus finally got sick of replacing everyones headlights and finally made a new replacement? These could be the new lights when you have leakage? If they are they did good because these headlights look very good.
