I really like the red and the Blue GS's!! Nice Job on both!!

 

Unfortunately not a second gen. GS here......still missing in the collection of GS 1st gen, IS200 and SC430, I hope I can add a SC400 pretty soon if it's going to be for sale. Then I'll look for the GS, I think the 430 and maybe a GS400 which is very rare here too!

I wish I still had them ...one was downgraded to stock status to be sold and intention was to keep the other....as soon as one was back to stock the other one was stolen and never recovered. So i have neither as portrayed above. Those were the good old days!

 

I live in the same area as you. Sorry to hear about the theft. I'm always having to be careful where I drive and where I go at night. I was wondered why I haven't seen the blue one in a while. I've seen you with the red one before but I never knew you were the owner of the blue one as well. But there is also another blue gs 400 around the area but with alot less work, I guess that's why I was confused. I have a black one myself and if it weren't for the fact that I have a garage to keep it in and the extremely loud and noticble alarm I probably wouldn't take it out that much.

 

Yep...i doubt you'll see the blue one ever again. I'm not sure i have ever seen your car...but if you do see me again......feel free to say hello and stop me. We can chat a little bit. I think i do know which blue gs you're talking about.

Wow, I didn't know about this thread except for DaveGS4 linking it from another thread about Cinnabar GS's, but 7 years later, I can actually say I fall into this category. I am fortunate to own 3 second gen GS's, a turbocharged GS3, stock GS4 (well, it's got cosmetic mods, ie. rims and Vertex Kit), and of course, the creme de la creme, DaveGS4's old black beauty. I'm just waiting for the weather to warm up for a photoshoot with all three together. I just love the GS and if I had the funds, I'd have a garage full of them!!!!

 

Haha.... When I first see the thread title, I asked myself if you have replied to it already... When are you going to be doing the photoshoot? I'll be in Atlanta next weekend and plan on seeing you and tony.

 

Well Vu, I have to work next weekend, but we are having a meet this weekend on Sunday in downtown Atlanta!!! Can you re-arrange your plans? I want to see how the paint came out on the Supra. Also, when this thread first came up, I didn't know about it, and only had 1 GS at the time anyway, but I came across it yesterday for the first time and thought how fitting, heheh.

 

My brother and I have a Black on Black 98 GS4 and then a SBM 99.

 

Hmmmmm............. your SBM sure looks like GS4fun's old ride minus the grill and suspension and wheels of course. Could it be that you finally found his old ride after all these years? j/k. I like your SBM, looks good.

 

Can't come to atlanta this weekend since I'm arranging to have my friends car brought down for steve to work his magic. As far as the supra goes, it's not what I expected. I'll give you a call.
