I've been a long time lurker and finally decided to register recently. I just recently picked up a 2001 GS300 after selling my Civic hatch. The garage seemed empty after selling the Civic, and the car fever began again. I've always loved the 2GS from way back and since I could finally afford one, the hunt was on. I searched locally in Hawaii for about 2 months with no success. I even went on a trip to visit some friends in Vegas and a short trip to Cali with no success. Low and behold, on my way back home during a layover I find one that met my criteria. Enough talking, Here's the pics.
My Civic
The new pick up
And exactly 1 month later. Just fooling around with a new point and shoot camera I got.
Hope you guys enjoyed the pics. Stage one of my build is now complete. Time to start saving for stage 2.
Nice....I remember seeing someone else from Hawaii on here with a GS with no sunroof, that's about the only other time I remember someone posting 1 lol..you made that car pretty sick....now get rid of that spoiler and your all set j/k....to each his own!
Neve realized that there wasn't a sunroof till i received the car. Bought it from a different island and dealt with the dealer over the phone. Now that you mention it, I have never seen any other sunroof-less 2GS. I've looked at dozens when looking for one too.

Thanks. I know I hate the spoiler and am planning to get rid of it when money permits. Besides it's the only damn thing that rattles on the trunk from the stereo.
To everybody else, Thank you for all of the compliments. I really appreciate it. This is my first build on any cars in probably at least 5 years. The civic just sat after I built it.
