The mpg is about the same but the v8 doesn't have to work as hard to move the car so it tends to be smoother and in better condition compared to the 300. Plus it's faster so that's why I have a 400. I'm looking to sell it so pm me if you're interested.

Ask yourself one question....What am i buying a GS for? Luxury, comfort, power, VIP?....V8... or just looks and fuel economy gs300. The 2J is a great motor dont get me wrong i had two Supras in the past but the gs300 is the na motor so weaker internals, smaller injectors, manifolds,etc... I love the torque and power of V8s hense why i bought my GS400 and also have the 5.7 Tundra and a 3.7L G37 coupe(wifes car)
