Carbon fiber is the answer. Though it costs a TON, especially 1-off work.

What about sun visors, rear-view mirrors, exhaust tips, grille, map pockets behind front seats, floor mats, trunk mat. Shave tread on tires down to 4/32. Use only 3 or 4 lug bolts. Wash the car and compound the paint.

Carbon fiber is a bit expensive, especially for one offs. But it's all a dream.

I think the quarterhorse jockey is your best bet. You don't have to work out so hard and you never have to worry about eating the wrong foods!

And you only have to pay him $50 for the day. Unless, of course, if you win some cash and then he gets 10%. Oh, wait, that's for the other kind of horses..

I am not feeling you guys on the weight reduction...
Personal weight reduction I am all for .

Nobody mentioned the Lexan windows. The windows on the car are heavier than the sheet metal (square inch per square inch). You could may be save some weight there... I dont' know how they will withstand the daily grind, though (scratches and such).

Actually Vlad, I mentioned the windows earlier in the thread. Just wondered if they would be to ricey for what he wants. Imagine what a GS would look like with those!!!

would those race window panels be too ricey???? Not exactly full luxury, but just a thought

The clear answer to weight reduction is the hood and yes it is expensive, but I am sure you will see huge results. My Lexus mechanic, who is da ****, told me to make this modification and have it made with air ducts. I believe someone on the brd has one.......the name has lost me. Check it out.

Here is a reasonable list so far. Can anyone fill in the # of lbs saved for some of the unknown items listed below?

1) Hawk Battery: ?? lbs saving
2) Sound deadening pads glued to the frame: 50-75 lbs saving
3) Trunk Spare: 30 lbs saving
4) FULL titanium exhaust: 75-100 lbs saving
5) Less gas in gas tank: ?? lbs saving
6) Carbon fiber hood: ?? lbs saving
7) Fiberglass kit: ?? lbs saving
8) Lightweight calipers: 60 lbs saving
9) Take out headrests: 15 lbs saving
10) A lighter steering wheel: ?? lbs saving
11) Floor mats: ?? lbs saving
12) Trunk mats: ?? lbs saving
14) Lightweight wheels from 20" 120 lbs saving
13) Me going on a diet: FORGET IT.

Looks like if I really wanted to, I can get rid off 500lbs based on this list.  This would be a 1 sec 1/4 mile gain. Amazing considering the interior is kept intact and luxury practically not affected. Any other ideas?

I can't remember if you have a brake upgrade or not, but if you don't, then you will be changing your front wheels anyway.
Go to smaller wheels, if push comes to shove, just stagger
19s in front, 20s in back. Going from 20's to 19's can make a difference in unsprung weight.

Thanks for the compliment on the ride and my girl says "Thank You" as well. I have all my pics off-line right now, but give me a week or two and you will be able to see a lot of them on my website......www.lexushp.com It's been hectic lately between doing the website, working on my car, and planning new year's.

OK i have a question, I dont know anything about carbon fiber other then the fact that it is alot stronger then steel, if price isn't an option, why couldn't they make a Frame for a car that is Carbon fiber? wouldn't that save alot of weight for the car? or does it flex too much?
