Default stock ride high

Just out of curiousity I've noticed it seems not all 2gs have the same stock height or at least in appearance mine looks lower than most but according to my window sticker even though its a platinum there were no changes in suspension so just kind of curious why, does any know?

I just looked at those pictures of your car; it's definitely not stock height. If it all looks factory under there, you might be on cut springs.

Now that these cars are 8-15yrs old with a wide range of mileage, it's not surprising that there will be some amount of variation from car to car in terms of stock ride height.

However, in your case, I tend to agree with Thomas. It's doesn't look like your suspension is stock.

Previous owner lowered the car. Looks like an inch or so. If not aftermarket then they were cut.

Everything else looked completely stock and I bought my car from a friend who I know didn't know how or have the tools to cut the springs not sure if the owner before him would have so if someone were to cut the springs wouldnt there at least be something else... I also know that my car was a loner car at one point for when people were having service to their cars so I just am not sure... Plus down the road I want to do lowering springs if I'm already lower would it be worth it other than maybe improved ride?

Do you have belstein shocks? Because they have two settings, you can move the clip to a lower setting for the spring, it will lower the car about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch

The springs are probably H&R's or Eibach's they are both black and if well broken in, can look stock if looking at visually.

I have Bilsteins with the spring perch at the lowest setting and it still doesn't look as low as the OP's car
