I think that's pretty much worth more then 5-7k lol
Unfortunately, you're wrong. Modifications to *not* add value to a car like this. If anything, they take value away. When a car is a dime-a-dozen like the GS, the most valuable ones are the ones that are bone stock and in great, well-maintained, original condition. If modifications exist...the best case scenario is that they don't detract from the car's value.

But yeah, shame that many gs's are ending up badly shaped in the road. They're really nice DD cars.
Gas isn't to bad, i only pay about $70 a week and insurance i'm paying around $1500 a year. Considering most kids my age are paying twice that for much ****tier cars, I'm pretty happy.

19, and I don't work during the school year, I just invested some money and it was more than enough to last during the school year then I work again during the summer. No offense but a lexus is not a car to have if money is tight. Running costs are relatively high when compared to fords Chevys ect. Mainly due to parts

I can manage on the parts, i just thought the only hassle i would have is insurance and gas. But if gas isn't a problem, since it's about 60 a tank then i can probably manage

If you do the discounts and put the insurance under someone else, youre insurance won't be to bad. Shouldn't be more then 2 grand a year, which isnt alot comparatively, and if you do only liability, itll be even less

I'm a 20 year old, with only liability, and I pay about $1,000 a year.

How's you're driving record? For $1500 I have full coverage and if I wanted just liability it was like $680 if I remember correctly

What type of investments that are giving you that huge of a return to where you don't have to work during the school year? Please point me in that direction...I have the Capital to invest in something like this.

I read that as, "I worked really hard during the summer and saved all my money. It was more than enough to last for the whole school year. Then I went back to work the next summer."

If it's truly a high-yield, short-term investment...I want in, too.

Bought 6k of mylan at 19, sold for 27 , a few thousand shares of actc at .05, went to .09 and I sold, and a few shares of apple at 437 and sold I think it was at 630 or 640, I didn't hold out till 700, but now its only at like 425 so might get back into it. There are a bunch of others but most money I invested was in medical stuff. I got lucky on the mylan. Actc I bought back into when it got to 7 cents and its been pretty steady for the past few months so well see. Thing is you don't technically need a fortune to start off with, but it definitely helps. I'm following a company called Titan medical pretty closely so we will have to see. This just because something that I started doing in my spare time, instead of spending money I mods, I did this.
