no problems with Pioneer interface here.

Super easy to use, and upon my research (mainly actually testing HU) Pioneer Z series tends to boot up faster than its competitors


Voice command on the Z series isnt really worth it (the Bluetooth hands free is amazing though)

I've turned off the recognition for voice (to search for songs etc.) because it simply keeps updating and renders the HU unusable while it updates)

 

All the brand name indsah receivers are the same size. None should have any issue fitting in any car, even the Nissan Frontier which has a metal suport beam running directly behind the dash. It only gives you a few mm of clearance but other then that fits great. Our GS has no issues. I have even fit an amp behind the installed indash. The Alpine KTP-445u tucks just to the right of the radio cavity. Fits perfect. Now those knock off units, those are all bad. The gps antenna and plug-ins stick out and you can run into issues. Stick with name brand and you can never go wrong... with car audio of coarse.

 

I just bought the appradio 2 for my gs also. Haven't tried to put it in yet. Crutch field said it won't fit. How much room do we have back there?

 

I'm using it with the arliberator to mirror my galaxy nexus.
