Default rain or shine...

we still found a way to work on our cars this past weekend.

rmmgs4 had synergy and mike ( i dunno your CL handle ) and me.

synergy was trying to figure out how to make no gap no rub on dubs to work....not quite there yet but we improved the situation somewhat with a heat gun and pushing in the plasting liner inside the fenders...

mike some rubbing issues with his 275/35/19 or were they 285s...eh, rubbing is now gone thanks to rmmgs4 and his belt sander (r.i.p.) which did it final grind on mikes car.

it was fun weekend guys...thanks rmmgs4 for having us over...my camera ran out of batteries so this is the only pic i have...but I know you have some more rmmgs4...

Question for ya.....

I'm curious if you have any pictures of the car in the lower left hand corner. I have a GS4 and at one time was looking at those rims but never saw them on the car. I'd be curious if you had a close up picture of the car/rims.

Thanks
Claud

Looks like I missed quite the gathering. I heard that Synergy is still rubbing. Is the word "Raise" still not in your vocabulary?

You're welcome Jawnthen !

Too bad we got so into how to keep Synergy's car from rubbing, that the night set in and we didn't get a chance to do a group shot.

Anyway,

Once we finish tweeking Synergys wheelwells I think we can resolve the rubbing.

Too bad we had to call it a day. I was ready to do some hard core surgery to his car. I was swinging that 10lb. sledgehammer like a major league hitter getting ready to hit a homer.

Out of that day, I've got pics of two DIY mods that I'll publish some time soon. Of course we're only half way through surgery with Synergy's car at this point.

RedGS4, according to Synergy, raising the car IS NOT AN OPTION.

RMMGS4 IS ON DECK !

Look like it was a lot of fun. I wonder what the neighbors thought with all those fixed up silver GS's chillen in the front.

Default Right Romi, not the 1st time

Naw . .

The neighbors are used to me. In fact they always seem to be walking their dogs or riding their bikes by my place when I do work, probably just to see what I'm up to.

It's like "what are you doing to your car now?", "isn't your car finished yet?" or "your going to wash the paint off that car if you keep cleaning it".

Nosey, but friendly.
