picture request: silver gs with yellow fogs (opinions would be nice too)
Hello CL members,
I have a silver 2001 gs300. Im getting tired of my 6k hid fogs right now and i'm thinking of changing my foglights to 3k hids. I want to change the housing to yellow, but don't know if i'm going to like it or not. Can someone post a picture please so they can help me decide and opinions could help too. Thanks alot

Quick google search resulted in these:
I think they look good, if you go HID's they should look nice and really pop, plus 3000K is one of the best light outputs/higher amount of lumens you can get. And if you want them more yellow, you can always paint the glass yellow or use vinyl/film over them to make them more yellow (from some angles and in various light conditions they might not always look bright/bold yellow).

Using yellow film on the fogs is HORRIBLE! Might as well throw some rice in the cooker... Dont do that! Just get the OEM yellow capsuled fogs. As stated above, the 3000k HIDs give an ugly faded banana color, you dont get the vibrant yellow as with the OEM. Just proves that when something is done right, the results are proper.

HAHAHA Mr Jokster....throw some rice in the cooker that made me laugh so hard.
I think film looks good in day time but he might be rite about the night time use of it. maybe it would look cool with a certain HID color and yellow tint. who knows....
i personally love my HID kit for the fogs....sometimes i keep them purple, and sometimes i switch them to greeeeeeen!!! looks sick and i break lots of necks with the different colors!
