Hello guys. 1st off thanks club lexus for letting me join. I am a newbie to Lexus. I recently bought a 1998 gs400. I absolutely love it. The person I bought the car from had installed the HID lowbeams and after market tail lights. When I start my car the brake light dash light is off but as soon as I put my foot on the brakes the light comes on on the dash. Also I keep my auto lights on but as soon as the sun goes down and my autolights kick on my radio shorts out for a split second and comes back on. It also does this [U]occasionally[U] when I manually turn the lights on. Is this pore installation or product. Thank you.

 

WOW nobody has opinion??? Ok lets try to ask a critical thinking question..... So the tail lights have a million (exageration) little L.E.D lights. If 1 burns out will that trigger the sensor to turn on the light??? It is possible that 1 of them are out and I cant tell because there are so many. Now the short w/ the radio and the head lights??? Are the lights linked to the head lights so when you turn the lights on it illuminates the radio. I've had some cars that are that way and some that are illuminated all the time. Is the GS400 wiring like this? I hate to start rewiring stuff....... P.I.F.A...... You guys are smart im sure you can figure that 1 out yourself.... hahaha
