Default Compustar or Viper or LuxLink?

Jus wondering if anyones had any real world experiences with these alarms on a lexus. I had a Viper 5704 on my last 99 GS3 and I hated how slow the reaction time was when you pressed a button sometimes and how unreliable it was. I have the 01 GS430 now and looking into an autostart alarm combo so wanted some of your opinions on what you guys think is better? My boy had LuxLink which worked flawless but its kind of pointless for me because you have to be pretty close to the car to start it. if anyone has any real world experience with the top of the line compustar 901 and viper 5904 let me know, thanks.

I have the 901, and it still has that lag problem. some times no response if you press button right after u auto start it or the car is trying to send the notification back to you.

but its not bad, just don't press anything when you are waiting for the confirmation.

I like my viper 5901. It's that bad. I couldn't live without the remote start

Thanks for the honesty guys glad to see I wasn't the only one experiencing lag. Sounds like no one has any lag problems with compustar

It's not that it's not working. It's just that the remote can't send a signal while the car is sending something back to the remote. Besides that it's a solid system

I wouldn't call viper solid. I went through 2 horns for the alarm in a few months. It was always something either the alarm horn stopped working. The delay with the button pressing would be long it just annoyed me felt very cheap. That's why I wanna find someone who has or had any of these problems with the compustar so I can determine they aren't better because based on the research I've been doing seems like no one has any of those problems wih compustar compared to viper. Also the fact they invented the 2 way remote makes me like them a little more

Get the viper or clifford. i know they are both made by directed but pick whatever key fob you like better. i have had no problems with viper over the years and it's weird i saw this thread, just went to go look at the new viper unit 2 way system tonight and thinking about getting the smart system to add on it.
