Default Just Purchased a Lexus

After months of searching I finally found a Lexus that I will enjoy. After reading all of your post and reading the reviews I decided to purchase a Lexus GS430.

I plan to modify the car in the next few months. After looking at many of your cars on the forum I'm definitely ready to start modifying. I definitely plan on changing the headlamps, foglights. If you have any ideas or suggestions it would be helpful. Well for now I'm a very happy man!

Congrats on your pick up man.

Check your suspension before doing any other mods along with maint. GS' are notorious for crappy suspension, haha, so i'd check bushings out and see if anything needs replacing first. Then you can get to modding haha

Welcome to the club! Nice find! Yeah it already looks like it has some mods done to it. And, yes check the suspension. I'd start with replacing the ball joints, OEM or MOOGS, then tie rods and bushings. They are notorious for crappy suspension so be aware. Timing belt should also be replaced along with the water pump and tensioners. Just some insurance for the future mods if you plan on doing them, no point in having some nice mods done to the car if its falling apart and lacking maintenance.

Congrats and welcome! I hope you were attending school and that's where you parked and not the junk yard (moms and pops shop) where you brought your car. Keep us posted on your build. That LED mirror and the steering wheel doesn't do justice. I think you should sell it. I'll be a team player and take it off your hands. =X LOL
