Subjective View: Personally i wouldn't just because the G35 coupe is too small for me and I like 4 dr cars better.
Objective View: I would trade it in and get the G35 Coupe. It has been rated one of the best cars of the year for the money. You can get a fully loaded one for about 35K (nav and all). Like Jacob said, 99 or 03, 67K miles or 0 miles, factory warranty, or no factory warranty. I am sure with some nice set of wheels, you can make the G35 look really mean.
Thats my 2 cents.

I have not seen this board for several months (since I found out new GS was not being restyled for 2003).
My 4 year lease on my 1999 GS400 ended in October and I now drive a G35 Coupe. In April, the coupe hit my radar and I fell in love with its styling. I was first at my local dealer to put down refundable deposit and I haven't looked back since.
My car arrived in mid November and it is better than I could have exepected. At 15k less than my GS and 20k less than the MB C32 I was looking at, I feel I got a bargain (handling, power, build quality so far). I have an automatic and it feels quicker than my GS400.....I think 0-60 times should be faster for GS400. Right?
I expect to have fun for a few years and then take serious look at new GS and new BMW 5's. By the way, my 1999 GS had 93,000 miles on it, and I would have taken a bath if traded in at dealer. Instead used cars.com and had about 4 interested parties from as far away as 600 miles. Got about $7,000 more going this route as compared to trade.
