YES. I would definitely trade for G35 coupe.

'99 GS4 with 67k, it's around $25-28k, plus some wear and tear. But you're talking about a '03 G35 brand new!? You have to come out some cash for the trade.

I test drove the G35 coupe and it handles good. If you are spending some money on the suspension, you can make GS out handle G35. And let me tell you, GS4 is faster than G35 if you install the TC. But you're still comparing the '03 against '99

Subjective View: Personally i wouldn't just because the G35 coupe is too small for me and I like 4 dr cars better.

Objective View: I would trade it in and get the G35 Coupe. It has been rated one of the best cars of the year for the money. You can get a fully loaded one for about 35K (nav and all). Like Jacob said, 99 or 03, 67K miles or 0 miles, factory warranty, or no factory warranty. I am sure with some nice set of wheels, you can make the G35 look really mean.

Thats my 2 cents.

I would sell it out right first , trading it is the hard part! No one seems to want to give you what its worth in the DC area. I guess most people around here makes so much money that they don't mind!

Default Just Replaced GS400 with G35 Coupe

I have not seen this board for several months (since I found out new GS was not being restyled for 2003).

My 4 year lease on my 1999 GS400 ended in October and I now drive a G35 Coupe. In April, the coupe hit my radar and I fell in love with its styling. I was first at my local dealer to put down refundable deposit and I haven't looked back since.

My car arrived in mid November and it is better than I could have exepected. At 15k less than my GS and 20k less than the MB C32 I was looking at, I feel I got a bargain (handling, power, build quality so far). I have an automatic and it feels quicker than my GS400.....I think 0-60 times should be faster for GS400. Right?

I expect to have fun for a few years and then take serious look at new GS and new BMW 5's. By the way, my 1999 GS had 93,000 miles on it, and I would have taken a bath if traded in at dealer. Instead used cars.com and had about 4 interested parties from as far away as 600 miles. Got about $7,000 more going this route as compared to trade.
