Default GS400 Custom Exhaust

I was tired of the stock sound, so I took off the rear sections for a while. Then I took out the resonators last week and brought the car to a muffler shop to have a straight pipe put in from after the first resonator. What do you guys think?

Nice, that's definitely a V8 under there. I would mistaken it for a flowmaster exhaust ... how much did you spend in total?

Not too bad ... do you have an intake? Just wondering if it would get louder or if this will be as throaty as it'll get.

I always loved the sound of the Ford V8, specially in the Mustang. I was saddened to find out the timing of the cylinder firing in the Lexus is the same as Chevy V8's. Ergo that's why our cars sound more like V8 Chevy's than V8 Fords.

I think it sounds great. Why have a V8 that is quiet as a mouse? I'm definitely going to delete my muffs once i get a minute

The reason you have a quiet v8 is because it's a luxury car and if anyone thinks they can take your "grandpas car" you just step on the gas and leave them behind with a their jaws dropped. Our engines sound mean under WOT. Sleeper all the way.

any drone? sounds pretty loud. ^^ and you should use 2.25 to match oem size, 2.5 will make you lose low end torque.

Sounds mean! I was pretty disappointed when they removed just my resonators and started it up for the first time - way too quiet for my taste.

I like those tips you put on there too. They look way better than these dinky OEM ones I have...

They used 2.25" piping to match OEM. And there is very little to no drone. The loudest is right around 3000 rpm but its not loud at all in the cab. I was expecting much more done but was pleasantly surprised
