Correct exhaust flange gaskets?
Hi all, I just wanted to verify that I ordered the correct parts before taking the exhaust apart. I've got a leak on the passenger side flange, right after the catalytic converter. Do these look like the right ones? Thanks.
Sorry, forgot to mention it's for a 2003 GS430.

I haven't installed headers, the exhaust is stock as far as I can tell. The part number for these gaskets is 90917-06078. According to the diagram, it's the exact same part number for the gaskets that are right before the mufflers.

Well it turns out that they were the correct gaskets after all. The old ones were trashed.
Once we got done installing the new gaskets, there was a gap between the flanges and we thought that it was going to continue leaking but it didn't. Is it normal for it to have such a large gap?
What are these two fat pipes called? Would removing those and installing straight pipes make the exhaust a little louder?

^^^^The "fat pipes" are called resonators. See definition here:

Yes, removing them and replacing with straight pipe will increase the noise, but it may also increase rasp and change the tone.
The gap is OK as long as there is no leak.

i have this large of a gap also.....one OEM gasket, one aftermarket (flat) gasket later and i still have a leak here.... i have been pulling the exhaust apart from dragging it im trying to decide now if i am gonna cut off and grind down the flanges to make them smooth to fit, remake this section of the exhaust, rework the flanges, weld shut the gap (mine actually is more prominent on the top)
sigh its really annoying
